Isaac and our favorite alien savages, the Necromorphs, are back in Dead Space 2 for the Xbox 360. Teddy bear and nightlight sold separately.

Isaac has no time to think once he opens his eyes for the first time in three years. Necromorphs descend upon the city as he wakes, brutally killing anything in their path. Barely escaping the attack, Isaac is left alone to fend off the monsters while demented visions of his dead girlfriend haunt his every move.

Fortunately for Isaac, the weapons are bigger, the suit is cooler, and he’s gotten better at that whole dismembering thing. New to the series is a multiplayer mode where two teams of four players battle each other: one group of humans, and one of Necromorphs. Team Human is given a mission to complete, while Team Necromorph sets out to completely annihilate any humans they encounter.

Dead Space 2 brings an overwhelming feeling of dread to the Xbox 360, offering danger around every corner and upping the ante with its bloodthirsty creatures, gripping story, and disturbing environments. With a hero who’s still suffering from the heart-stopping horror of the last game, you’ll have to find a way to work through his pain and keep moving. Maybe your mom will tuck you in…
